About the poetry....
Welcome to my page of poetry. My name is Alison and I have been reading, writing and studying poetry since
I was very young. I have included several sample poems on this website from some of my favorite poets. Many
of these people have had a tremendous influence on my own writing. I have not yet included my own works, but I
plan to do so in the near future, so check back often!
Poets that are included here
The menu on the left is the first part of my comprehensive list of poets. You will notice that it contains
some poets whose last name begins with "A" and a couple of last names "B." There are additional
poets as well, which you can access from the other pages on my website. Please excuse the rather
simple design of my site! I am primarily a poetry person and not really all that talented at stuff like putting
web pages together.

I promise that I will read them all, although I cannot promise that I will include them here. I believe that everyone
